NGage Reports Beatrice as One of the Top 16 Communities Considered for a Nuclear Reactor in New Siting Study

NGage is pleased to announce that a siting study by the Nebraska Public Power District chose to review Beatrice. This study analyzed 16 communities to determine their suitability for a nuclear reactor—both how well the area suits a reactor, and how it benefits the community.
Beatrice Scores High In Nuclear Siting Study
NGage supports this siting study and other efforts to bring new industry to Gage County. Beatrice had the highest composite score of all considered locations, with high marks in electrical transmission capabilities, health and safety, and environmentalist attitudes. It’s also notable for ease of permitting, in part thanks to NGage’s efforts and cooperation with Gage County public leadership.
