City approves Lincoln Street bid

The Beatrice City Council awarded a bid for the Lincoln and 33rd Street project to Constructors, Inc. for $2,330,787.
The street project is being done to accommodate the traffic for the new elementary school scheduled to open in August 2024. A roundabout is being planned at the intersection of Lincoln and 33rd streets. It will be comparable to the roundabout at Saltillo Road as drivers exit Highway 77 near Lincoln according to plans.
