Gage County Board approves contract to replace bridges

The Gage County Board of Supervisors voted to award a contract to Vogtscapes of Bennet for the reconstruction of six box culverts in the county.
Four bids were received for the projects from A&R Construction, Collins, JJK Construction LLC and Vogtscapes.
Bids were opened at a 8:15 a.m. timed event during the meeting. Acting chairperson Emily Haxby met with Gage County Highway Superintendent Mark Kuhnke during a brief recess.
