New U-Stop in east Beatrice on the verge of opening

The City of Beatrice is about to get its first convenience and fueling station at the east edge of the city. A U-Stop store being built by Todd and Soni Hydo has some remaining interior work to be done…with plans to open this month.
Chase Buettner will be the Manager of the business, a nearly four-thousand square foot store modeled after a U-Stop in Denton. The store Monday night received a favorable recommendation from Beatrice officials on its liquor license application.
