Thanks to its participation in the C4K Initiative and funding provided by Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental
Act funding received through Grant Number 2101NECDC6, of the USDHHSAdministration
for Children and Families and Nebraska Department of Health
and Human Services, Gage County was awarded over $700,00 to increase the capacity for Gage County childcare. This money was used in a number of ways to support new and existing childcare businesses:
As a result of childcare initiatives and support within the region, local companies are now moving to provide on-site childcare. Precise Fabrication, a local manufacturing company, has a demonstrated commitment to workers and is in the process of providing an onsite daycare. Assisting in this endeavor, NGage is now looking to help Precise Fabrication identify a potential provider to operate this new childcare facility.
