Company updates Gage County officials on CO-2 Plan for cross-state pipeline

A portion of pipeline which transports natural gas across southern Nebraska would be transitioned to handling carbon dioxide, under an energy company’s plan. Gage County Supervisors Wednesday received an update on the plans for the Trailblazer Pipeline, from Tallgrass…an energy company. The existing 36-inch natural gas pipeline that crosses portions of Fillmore, Saline, Jefferson and Gage Counties would remain in natural gas service, but a portion of pipe farther west would be converted to transport more than 10 million tons of CO-Two per year… transported to Wyoming for sequestration.
