The Nebraska Diplomats held a Southeast Regional Economic Development Celebration in Seward, Nebraska on November 2, 2017

Rare Earth Salts is located in Beatrice Nebraska and is a leading materials technology company and producer of rare earth oxides. Rare Earth Salts has developed an innovative, high value, low cost and environmentally friendly way to capture and refine the 16 rare earth elements.

With the announcement of Rare Earth Salts teaming with Battelle (a science and technology firm) on a potentially groundbreaking project for the United States Department of Energy’s National Energy Technology Laboratory to recover High Purity Rare Earth Elements (REEs) from Coal Ash and converting them to the high purities necessary for a saleable product.  The two organizations will advance the development of REE processing by combining RES novel separation and purification process and Battelle’s Acid Digestion Process. Rare Earth Salt’s prominence in the market has skyrocketed in 2017 leading to the recognition by the Nebraska Diplomats.
