Nebraska has assistance programs to help businesses stay competitive and/or find financing.

 

The Nebraska Small Business Collaborative is a collaboration of experienced microenterprise development providers. The NSBC collaborative provides microenterprise businesses technical assistance and micro-loans in all areas of Nebraska. Direct members of the Collaborative include: 

 

            The Center for Rural Affairs – REAP Program provides micro loans and technical assistance to start-up and existing businesses.  REAP is a Community Development Financial Instituion (CDFI) and collaborates with other programs and lenders across the state.  

 

            Community Development Resources (CDR) is a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI) that whose core purpose is, providing financial products and services to people and communities underserved by traditional financial markets. CDR offers SBA 504 program loans, micro loans, small business loans and community development loans. 

 

            Catholic Charities Microbusiness Training and Development Program primarily provides micro business training and loans to Hispanic speaking business owners in the Omaha area
