Childcare Support in Gage County

The Gage County Childcare Collaborative was launched from the Gage County Communities for Kids (C4K) initiative, spearheaded by NGage in 2021. Gage County C4K was created in response to community requests for assistance with shortages of high-quality early care and education programs - shortages that both impact children’s optimal development and pose a challenge for communities hoping to attract and retain the viable workforce they need to thrive. The efforts were aimed at partnering with communities’ public and private entities to support and coordinate planning for access to high-quality early care and education for all children ages 0-5. The Gage County C4K initiative has grown in its mission and urgency since 2021, justifying the creation of an entirely new non-profit dedicated to tackling ongoing childcare challenges to create positive outcomes for children, families, and the entire Gage County community.

Gage County Childcare collaborative is a 501 c(3) organization that was developed to support childcare initiatives in Gage County. To summarize it we are working to develop a sustainable board and non-profit that is here to support our childcare industry for decades as well as to help support the availability and affordability of childcare in general.
