Meet the Locals: Discover Life in Beatrice & Gage County, Nebraska

Manufacturing Day is a nationally-celebrated day meant to inspire the next generation of manufacturers. Beatrice area businesses participated this year, hosting students from both Beatrice and Southern High Schools for tours of their facilities. Students were exposed to manufacturing in a way that provided some “light bulb” moments. Partnering with schools is becoming increasingly important for the manufacturing industry as they look ahead to workforce needs and talent retention of the future.
