GAGE COUNTY ELECTRIC UTILITIES OFFER SAFE, RELIABLE AND AFFORDABLE POWER SUPPLY

Nebraska is the only state in the United States where every home and business is served by a publicly owned electric utility. Nebraskans are safely provided electricity and related services at costs that rank with the best in the nation, and in the most reliable, efficient, and environmentally responsible manner.

Electric consumers in Gage County receive power from one of four electric utilities depending on the location of the electric service:

• Norris Public Power District provides power to consumers located in a majority of the rural areas of Gage County and in the incorporated communities of Adams, Barneston, Blue Springs, Clatonia, Cortland, Filley, Liberty, Odell, Pickrell, and Virginia.
• The City of Beatrice provides power to its citizens.
• The City of Wymore provides power to its citizens.
• The City of Fairbury provides power to a small number of consumers in rural Gage County.
