You’re invited to get a special look at an exhibit highlighting historic University of Nebraska–Lincoln achievements as the N150 sesquicentennial celebration comes to Beatrice on Oct. 8 – 18.
In addition, there will be a UNL Extension & N150 Open House on Oct. 12 from 10 a.m. - Noon in the Vette Cultural Art Center at the Beatrice Public Library. Join us for refreshments, UNL swag and prizes.
The N150 traveling exhibit features key moments in the university’s 150-year history since its charter on February 15, 1869 — from influential alumni, legendary athletic programs and cultural contributions to agricultural, technological and science innovation and environmental stewardship. The exhibit, which is making its 15th stop, is on a yearlong tour throughout Nebraska, engaging every corner of the state to celebrate our university’s 150-year history and land-grant legacy. Previous tour stops include O'Neill, South Sioux City, McCook, Lincoln, Scottsbluff, Gering, Ashland, North Platte, Seward, Kearney, Hastings, Columbus, Grand Island and Nebraska City.
