Zulkoski appointed to NEDA and SENDD Boards

Walker Zulkoski, Executive Director of Gage Area Growth Enterprise (NGage), was appointed to the Boards of Directors of the Nebraska Economic Developers Association (NEDA) on March 1, 2018 and the Southeast Economic Development District (SENDD) on March 15, 2018.
NEDA, with over 300 members, is the largest association of economic development professionals in Nebraska. It is dedicated to strengthening economic development in the state through educational and professional development of its members.
SENDD is a voluntary association of counties and municipalities formed under the Nebraska Interlocal Cooperation Act to identify common problems, their solutions, and to provide continuing support for efficient and effective government among its members. SENDD membership includes the counties (and their participating communities) of: Cass, Fillmore, Gage, Jefferson, Johnson, Nemaha, Otoe, Pawnee, Polk, Richardson, Saline, Saunders, Seward, Thayer, and York.
“I am honored to serve on these two boards,” Zulkoski said. “The voices of NEDA and SENDD are powerful and carrying our message from rural Nebraska to state decision makers will be critical to the growth of businesses and the vitality of our rural communities.”
Zulkoski has a bachelor’s degree from the University of Nebraska - Lincoln and a MBA from Nebraska Wesleyan University. He has lead economic development efforts for NGage for nearly two years and served as a Business Development Consultant with the Nebraska Department of Economic Development for four years prior to assuming the post in Gage County.
He currently resides in Gage County near Cortland with his wife, Katie, and their two sons, Calvin and Leo.
