NGage Receives Intern Nebraska Grant

An Economic Development Marketing Intern Position available with NGage
The latest round of Intern Nebraska (InternNE) grants were announced on May 15, 2014. NGage’s funding application was approved by the Nebraska Department of Economic Development that oversees the program. NGage will be looking for a college student that has completed at least two years of study (or recent graduate) having interest in and completion of some coursework in marketing, advertising and/or public relations and communications. The paid internship will be available for up to approximately 500 hours and will work closely with NGage Executive Director to coordinate use of social media messages, creating promotional materials, updating website among other marketing related duties.
The Intern Nebraska (InternNE) program connects college students and employers from across the state, providing a unique opportunity for them to co-invest in the future. Interns gain valuable business experience that will help them in future careers, while successful internships help businesses develop tomorrow’s leaders. Internships create lasting connections between students and the region; more than 50% of interns become full-time employees at their place of internship, according to the National Association of Colleges and Employers.
