Worldlawn Power Equipment
A division of World Group, a Chinese company, Worldlawn Power Equipment manufactures outdoor power equipment that includes professional, commercial lawn mowers, residential lawn mowers, and snow throwers. By acquiring a manufacturing facility in Beatrice, they were able to more easily access North American customers and grow their United States footprint.
Exmark Manufacturing, part of The Toro Company
Exmark manufactures Exmark and Toro riding and walk-behind mowing equipment for landscape professionals. They have up to 650 employees working at the Beatrice plant at any given time. The Toro Company has additional plants in North America along with locations in Australia, Italy and the United Kingdom.
Duonix Beatrice is the result of a partnership between Flint Hills Resources, Benefuel® Inc., and a Japanese trading company. This is a first-of-its kind plant capable of producing high-quality, cost-competitive biodiesel from a multitude of advantaged, non-edible feedstocks using Benefuel’s innovative ENSEL technology. Rob Tripp, Chief Executive Officer of Benefuel said, “… we’re very pleased to be able to say that production at Duonix Beatrice is now underway and the results are very encouraging. We believe this provides us with a strong base to grow additional production within the U.S. and worldwide.”
Hendrix Genetics recently opened a location in Beatrice, Nebraska. They are a multi-species animal breeding, genetics and technology company. Hendrix aims to produce animals that thrive under all conditions and their programs are based on these breeding philosophies. Every Hendrix Genetics brand has its own breeding program tailored to their market, making Beatrice’s agricultural community an ideal location for their expansion. Hendrix Genetics’ parent company is headquarters is in the Netherlands with their North American headquarters in Canada.
Neapco designs, manufactures and distributes OEM and aftermarket driveline products for automotive, light truck, heavy truck, off-road, agriculture, and industrial/construction applications throughout the globe. They combine innovative in-house design, efficient production, world-class sourcing and quality assurance processes with great people, many of whom work at their Beatrice location. NEAPCO has locations throughout the world, including plants in Mexico, Germany, Poland and China.
Accuma Corporation has been over 20 years of experience in injection molding of plastic containers, lids, vent-plugs and accessories, as well as in production of a wide range of cold forged lead bushings for electric accumulators. Established in North Carolina, they opened a factory in Beatrice in 1995. They also have plants in Italy, the UK and Northern Ireland.
This Korean company imports parts from Asia, warehouses them in Beatrice, and then distributes parts throughout North America.
