Have a dream, start a business, strike it rich. That’s a narrative embedded in most American’s DNA. But the truth is a lot more complicated. True, more than 80 million Americans are running some sort of small business. (For more interesting stats on entrepreneurship, check out this list: http://ow.ly/C4cAx.) But the ones that succeed in making a comfortable living do so because of a lot of hard work, a little bit of good luck—and a whole slew of help.

Here in Gage County, Nebraska, we know that entrepreneurs are a vital part of the regional economy—so we leverage our resources to provide as much support as we can. If you have a business idea, or run an existing business, you can tap into our resources for new ideas and support. The REAP program is a good example of the kinds of resources available.
