Economic Gardening Program thru Nebraska DED

Thursday, July 30, 2015

The Nebraska Department of Economic Development is taking business referrals on their Economic Gardening program.  This program is designed to assist growth oriented companies to address strategic growth challenges, including developing new markets, refining business models, and gaining access to competitive intelligence.  Last year NGage referred Industrial Maid to the current program.  This was the 2nd opportunity for the company to engage with economic gardening.  Jeff Zvolanek, company president, gives the program a thumbs up and shared this note on what the program helped them with.  “It helped Industrial Maid gain some very detailed information on our competitors in the dust collection industry. We worked with several professionals to get information about our key competitors in regards to distribution, size, marketing and specifics on how they use their website to gain leads and information on prospective customers. We have used this information as we continue to grow. Our sales were 80% distribution and 20% Internet in 2012. Now its 50 – 50 split. The web is becoming a very powerful marketing and sales tool.”
